While a sequel to “Blockade” and many of the key people from that book continue to play a role the story is a new one. Chronologically it takes off where “Blockade” ends. The world is essentially at peace and thriving from a new nuclear fuel, Thorium. Its discovery and and introduction into “Breeder” reactors is enriching the “Cerberus” organization. “An evil politician who took the name “MAO LI” is close to seizing power in China and wants to renew a “new mao” about to see take power in China wants to renew the attack on Taiwan and also force South Korea into a Political/Economic alliance with China which could will be followed by a devastating war. Cerberus is able to forestall this using a unique submarine with technology never tried before. Many sub plots relate to this action and enliven this nail bitingly exciting book.

After eons of crime and war the world, with a few exceptions, seems to be enjoying peace and prosperity.. Cerberus is not resting on its laurels. They realize this might not last due to faults in in the attitude of some of the inhabitants of this world. They have long cherished the the thought of a “new start” for humanity. Due to persistent influences of the wrong kind they reason that this new civilization must be immune from such evil input and operate strictly by new rules of conduct. To do so, they must be separated from others not sharing their ideals.
Since there is no place on earth where this can occur, they must do this on another planet that can, given the right resources, support human life.
So begins the greatest adventure ever contemplated by mankind. What makes this different is that this effort will be private and not under the control of any government. The group will be small, fifteen couples, selected from the entire world and not dominated by any nation. The participation of an enormously rich person who can provide transportation makes the project possible. What follows will motivate and excite you like no other work you have read.
